Location: Alexandria, MN
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
Schedule:

  • Days: 5 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday
    - Thursday and 5 AM - 12 PM Friday
  • Nights: 3:30 PM - 2 AM , Monday
    - Thursday

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

  • Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments.
  • Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required.
  • Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety.
  • Saw and drill press operation expeience required

Job Duties

  • Deburring, drilling and tapping of holes
  • Sheet metal fabrication to include calculating bend allowances for cut size and hole location.
  • Working knowledge of laser and waterjet
  • Machine maintenance
  • Must be able to be forklift certified

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
  • Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Fabrication Technician.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
  • Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
