- Every Other Weekend (EOW): $31/hour
- 3 Out of 4 Weekends: $33/hour
- Every Weekend (EW): $36/hour
Bonus flexibility:
Weekend-only team members may pick up additional shifts during the week if desired. Any additional shifts worked outside the weekend commitment will be paid at the LPN’s regular hourly rate (not the weekend premium rate).
The LPN is responsible for providing residents with the highest quality of direct routine care, under the supervision of the RN and in accordance with the Minnesota BON standards, the Resident’s Bill of Rights and the facility Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. The LPN participates in the development and modification of the resident Plan of Care, implementing interventions that are delegated, ordered or prescribed by the RN or physician.
The LPN collects resident health data and compares to normal findings and the established current health status, reporting changes and/or responses to interventions in an ongoing manner to the RN. The LPN assigns and monitors nursing tasks or activities of unlicensed nursing staff through, assessment of their knowledge, skill and capabilities, clarifying expectations addressing behaviors or escalating. All nursing activities are performed to support residents in achieving and maintaining the highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well‑being.
- Provide direct nursing care under RN supervision
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Participate in resident care planning and documentation
- Observe, assess, and report changes in resident condition
- Delegate and monitor nursing tasks for unlicensed staff
- Promote dignity, independence, and person‑centered care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing
- Current Minnesota LPN license
- Current CPR certification
- Experience in skilled nursing and/or assisted living preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
