Now Hiring Quality Lab Technician in Alexandria, MN
Pay Rate: $25.50 – $27.50 per hour
Shift:(Days | 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) (Nights | 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM)

As a Quality Lab Technician in Alexandria, your job is to protect the process. You’ll check, measure, and approve the work that keeps production moving forward.
The Skills You Need (Quality Lab Technician Requirements):- Education:
High school diploma or GED required; college degree or certification in a biology-related field preferred. - Experience:
Prior food lab experience or coursework in microbiology, biology, or related fields. - Strong working knowledge of aseptic systems, processes, and practices.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Word and PowerPoint preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, manage multiple priorities, and make decisions under pressure.
- Must be able to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and occasionally liftupto 50 lbs.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Job Duties ):
- Coordinate and monitor packaging quality to maximize product integrity.
- Perform quality tests, including pH checks, solids analysis, CIP testing, ATP, allergen,micro, and visual inspections.
- Conduct package teardowns and investigate product spoilage issues.
- Calibrate and operate lab testing equipment accurately.
- Maintain retention samples and manage lab inventory levels.
- Accurately complete and maintain quality documentation.
- Communicate lab results with production operators and supervisors.
- Support plant safety initiatives, including inspections, meetings, and hazard reporting.
- Promote teamwork and assist in training new team members as needed.
