Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Front Counter Building Material Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our store, assisting customers with their building material needs, providing product recommendations, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. Your enthusiasm for construction and renovation projects will help drive sales and foster lasting customer relationships.

Duties

• Greet customers promptly and professionally at the front counter, providing expert advice on building materials and home improvement products
• Assist customers with product selection and technical questions related to renovation, remodeling, and construction projects
• Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems while handling cash and credit payments securely
• Maintain organized stock displays, ensure shelves are stocked with high-demand items, and assist with inventory management
• Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication skills and personalized service
• Collaborate with the team on merchandising strategies to promote high-end sales items and seasonal products
• Assist with rental equipment sales check in and out.

• Provided outstanding customer service skills.
• Willing to work with a team first attitude and take ownership of this position.
• Strong organization skills, excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
• Ability to learn, comprehend and apply construction material uses

Pay: $20.00 – $26.00 per hour based on experience
