Shipping Specialist

Position Overview

Shipping Specialist – Alexandria, MN (Daylight Shift: Monday‑Thursday 6:00AM – 4:30PM). Pay $24.00‑$27.00 per hour plus a $3,000 sign‑on bonus.

• Coordinate daily outbound shipments to ensure on‑time customer delivery.
• Prepare, package, verify, and label shipments for accuracy.
• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against packing documentation.
• Coordinate with freight carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Manage internal fleet activities and outside processing to keep materials moving efficiently.
• Monitor shipping performance and identify opportunities for process improvements using Lean principles.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping department.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Customer Service to meet customer expectations.

• 2+ years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience.
• Knowledge of shipping procedures and freight documentation.
• Forklift experience or willingness to become certified.
• Basic computer skills for shipping and inventory transactions.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work safely around forklifts, shipping equipment, and manufacturing operations.

• Four‑day work week (Monday‑Thursday daylight schedule).
