*** Fridays from 11am to 6:30 pm approximately
* As needed Monday thru Thursday 11am to 6:30pm approximately or 12pm to 7:30 pm approximately.
** Position Objective
** The Courier is responsible for efficiently and accurately transporting specimens for Provider ordered lab tests and transportation of materials and supplies. The route the courier will take includes routine and variable stops.
** Essential Responsibilities*
* • Ensure timely, safe, and accurate delivery of specimens and supplies within Alexandria and surrounding communities utilizing the Alomere Health’s courier vehicle
• Utilize technology available for tracking specimens
• Work with laboratory supervisor to plan routes
• Ensure the most efficient route is travelled each day, with minimal delays or deviations from planned route
• Work with hospital, clinic, and client team members to ensure transportation needs are met
** Other Responsibilities*
* • Perform all other related duties as assigned in a professional and responsive manner
• Demonstrate the ability to use relevant equipment
• Support, understand, and promote Alomere Health’s mission, vision, values, policies and procedures
• Ability to meet the work schedule requirements with flexibility dependent upon the needs of the department

** Required Qualifications*
* • High school graduate or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• 21 years of age or older
• Satisfactory driving record. Driving record will be verified annually.
• Complete transportation of dangerous good training or complete within 2 weeks of hire
** Preferred Qualifications*
* • Prior courier experience
** Knowledge,

* • Strong skill in communication, make sure needs are relayed and information is communicated
