Accounting Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–4 years of accounting experience (nonprofit experience preferred)
• Understanding of nonprofit/fund accounting principles
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Blackbaud, Sage Intacct, Quick Books, Net Suite)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Perform bank and general ledger account reconciliations
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, allocations, reclasses)
• Assist with preparation of grant financial reports and reimbursement requests
• Support allocation of shared expenses across programs
• Assist in preparation of internal financial statements (Statement of Activities, Statement of Financial Position, etc.)
• Support budget-to-actual variance analysis
• Maintain accurate chart of accounts aligned with program and funding requirements
• Review and code invoices to appropriate programs and funding sources
• Assist with donor receivable tracking and reconciliations
• Support payroll-related journal entries and benefit allocations
