Responsibilities
- Maintain relationships and communicate with key client personnel to understand business operations, processes, and functions.
- Demonstrate an understanding of accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations.
- Bridge the gap between logistics procedures and financial accounting processes.
- Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Work in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Balance multiple projects concurrently.
- Supervise and review work performed by other staff.
- Apply innovative methodologies that support an audit.
- Review and evaluate internal controls and supporting documentation.
- Develop solutions for implementation to mitigate deficiencies in internal control activities and supporting documentation.
- Determine compliance with policies and selected law/regulations are met.
- BA/BS degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting and auditing experience.
- Experience working with financial statement compilation.
- Ability to navigate a transaction database and determine potential issues or inappropriate posting.
- Proficient skills in Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
- Active Interim Secret Clearance (or higher, such as Secret, Top Secret or TS/SCI) and U.S. citizenship.
- CPA (highly desirable).
- Experience with Federal clients, A‑123, and internal controls.
- Experience working with Federal and/or DoD clients.

The expected salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $100,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law.
The position is eligible for bonuses when applicable.
