Individual Corporate Tax Preparer

Job Description

We are an established accounting firm seeking an all-encompassing tax preparer to join our team. While providing professional services to Individuals, S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships, Estates, Trusts, and Non-Profits, we are dedicated to providing expert advice to the entrepreneurial-minded clientele. The ideal candidate will have A MINIMUM of 5 years of experience working as a Tax Preparer in an established tax environment.

The ability to form and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients; strong, concise, clear written and verbal communication skills, self-motivation, flexibility, and an internal drive to meet deadlines. Any candidate applying for this position must possess excellent attention to detail, a keen sense of organization, a sharp ability to time-manage and prioritize tasks. Experience with Lacerte and Quick Books software is preferred.

• 4 Year Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong computer and research skills, including experience with Quick Books and Excel
• Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with co-workers and clients
• Strong communication skills
• Self-motivation, flexibility, and an internal drive to meet deadlines
• A positive and professional attitude

• Federal/State/Local income tax returns preparation for Individuals, S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships, Estates, Trusts, and Non-Profits
• Tax compliance and tax planning services
• Tax research
• Interaction with clients
• Financial statements preparation (Quick Books)
