The Undersea Technology Portfolio, within SPA's Sea, Land, & Air Division, conducts rigorous and objective analyses to enable the Navy and other DoD organizations to make decisions, plans, and strategies to deliver emerging technologies and war fighting capabilities. We support clients across the undersea, naval special warfare, and expeditionary warfare enterprises, including those within resourcing and requirements, acquisition, and science and technology.

SPA is seeking an Administrative Assistant in support of NAVSEA's Naval Special Warfare Program Office.

This role provides general administrative support to ensure the smooth organization and daily operations of PMS 340. Responsibilities include managing schedules by maintaining calendars, setting appointments, responding to invitations, and keeping managers updated on evolving situations. The position also involves arranging travel and assisting with the setup of scheduled meetings. Additionally, duties encompass preparing and coordinating office communications, memoranda, and correspondence.

The role requires maintaining electronic files, databases, and business unit calendars, while also preparing presentations, reports, and large documents when necessary. It may involve coordinating audits of classified hard drives, handling classified materials, and preparing for meetings. Depending on the company's needs, the role may involve maintaining contract, personnel, or financial files and reports. The position requires reporting to a designated work location, up to full-time.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1–3 years of administrative or office support experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and standard office tools

  • Active DoD Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting DoD, Navy, or government program offices

  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Familiarity with scheduling, correspondence management, and basic document control practices
