Used Car Department Assistant

Ourisman Ford Lincoln of Alexandria — one of the busiest Used Car Dealerships on Richmond Highway — is in need of a full‑time Lot Assistant to help keep vehicles and paperwork organized and assist with getting pre‑owned vehicles front‑line ready as quickly as possible. This position can also lead to other full‑time positions and serve as a great stepping stone to work in sales or service in the dealership. We always look from within to promote first!

• Prompt attendance without the frequent need to call out of work
• Ability to multi‑task and prioritize the day's activities
• Have a safe and clean driving record
• Be comfortable driving vehicles of all sizes (ability to drive manual transmission strongly preferred but not required)
• Ability to coordinate and work with teammates and managers to get the job done

• Ensure the Pre‑Owned lot is clean, organized, stickered properly, and appealing for customers
• Work with vendors to ensure vehicles are pictured, clean, and corrected for prime lot appearance
• Utilize the Rapid Recon app to ensure pre‑owned vehicles are reconditioned as quickly as possible (no prior experience required)
• Write descriptions of pre‑owned vehicles that are appealing for customers to want to buy
• Drive vehicles between lots or locations to ensure proper reconditioning or delivery to customer
• Write up reconditioning tickets for the Service Department
• Ensure keys are tagged and in the machine properly
