Mazda Main Line Technician – Techs

Safford Brown Mazda of Alexandria is looking for an experienced Main Line Automotive Technician to join our growing service team. We are a high-volume dealership with consistent work available and a strong support system to help our technicians succeed.

The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, the ability to perform repairs efficiently, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. If you are motivated, detail-oriented, and looking for a shop with steady work and opportunity for advancement, we want to hear from you.

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles according to manufacturer standards
• Perform maintenance services including brakes, suspension, engine repairs, and electrical diagnostics
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues accurately
• Complete repair orders efficiently and accurately
• Communicate with service advisors regarding recommended repairs and vehicle status
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures
• Participate in manufacturer training and certification programs

• Previous automotive technician experience required
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• ASE certifications preferred (not required)
• Mazda certification is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume shop
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Own tools required

• $23 – $37 per flat-rate hour based on experience and certifications
