Franconia Auto Care is looking for an experienced, dependable Automotive Technician to join our team in Alexandria, Virginia.
We are a busy, established automotive repair facility servicing domestic and foreign vehicles. We are looking for a skilled mechanic who can independently diagnose vehicle problems, perform quality repairs, and take pride in doing the job right.

What We Offer:- $1,350–$1,500 per week, depending on experience and qualifications.

- Diagnose and repair domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Perform engine, brake, steering, suspension, cooling system, and electrical repairs.
- Diagnose check-engine lights and drivability concerns using automotive diagnostic equipment.
- Identify vehicle problems and recommend necessary repairs.
- Communicate diagnostic findings and repair recommendations clearly to the service advisor.
- Perform repairs accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform Virginia State Safety Inspections if currently licensed.
- Minimum 3 years of professional automotive repair experience preferred.
- Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles independently.
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
- Must have your own automotive repair tools.
- Valid driver's license.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Virginia State Safety Inspector certification is a plus, but not required.
- ASE certifications are welcome but not required.
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
