Assessment and Evaluation Analyst

Job Description

The Assessment and Evaluation Analyst provides expertise and leadership in division-wide program evaluation, strategic planning, measurement and analytics, and continuous improvement efforts. The analyst consults with senior leadership, departments, schools, and external partners, conducts technical analyses, and develops quantitative and qualitative data reports to support improvement. The analyst supports the Chief Accountability Officer with assessment and survey efforts, designs and facilitates professional learning opportunities, and leads division-wide projects.

The position works under the supervision of the Chief Accountability Officer and is a 12‑month Administrators SAS‑09 grade role.

• Education: Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Evaluation, or Applied Research (Doctorate preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of five years job‑related experience within the educational field, with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Full program evaluation cycle (theories, design, methods, action planning, monitoring); current educational research strands;
  PreK‑12 systems and equity issues; strategic planning, goal setting, measurement, continuous improvement processes; assessment design, administration, and analysis (criterion‑referenced, norm‑referenced, performance‑based); current state accreditation and federal accountability requirements; project management; design and delivery of professional learning for adults; quantitative and qualitative data analytics; data visualization; proficiency with SPSS, NVivo, Excel, etc.; consultative services; instrument and survey design; evaluation design; ability to transfer knowledge, collaborate, communicate, identify root causes, implement solutions;
  
  maintain confidentiality of protected data; apply continuous improvement principles; strategic planning, prioritization, implementation in dynamic environments; lead stakeholder groups; cultural responsiveness.

• Lead major division program evaluation projects through design, methods, data collection, analysis, and reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
• Oversee the development, implementation, monitoring, and revision of the division’s strategic plan.
• Facilitate the implementation of evaluation findings through a collaborative action‑planning process with key stakeholders.
• Analyze, design, and report key division data using data visualization methods to support decision‑making.
• Prepare reports and presentations for school board, senior leadership, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Provide expert consultation on planning, measurement, evaluation, and improvement.
• Develop, lead, and refine in‑service professional learning for stakeholders.
• Direct and monitor the implementation of the division’s standardized testing and assessment program.
• Lead systems thinking and continuous improvement aligned to strategic initiatives.
• Design, review, implement, analyze, and report on division‑level survey efforts.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Chief Accountability Officer.

• Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance.
• Tuberculosis Skin Test.
• Public Health Compliance – must follow safety and health protocols.

FLSA Status: Exempt position – not eligible for overtime pay under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
