HOURS & SCHEDULE :
Generally Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm (minimum 37.5 hours within five (5) days per week);
Ability to work additional hours as needed to meet deadlines and manage workflow.
REPORTS TO :
This position reports to the Vice President, Development.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED :
None l be reassessed within six months of hire.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
The Director of Corporate Partnerships is an important member of NCMEC's development team and leads the organization's corporate fundraising program. The Director develops and executes a corporate partnership strategy that grows private revenue from priority sectors, including technology, retail, and hospitality. Core responsibilities include building and maintaining the corporate pipeline, sourcing and soliciting net-new prospects, stewarding existing corporate partners, and securing and executing corporate partnership agreements.
The Director owns the pipeline, strategy, solicitation timing, and documentation for every corporate account, including those where an operational or executive leader holds the primary relationship. In those cases, the Director builds the strategy and collaborates with that leader on cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. The Director also owns the corporate revenue strategy and goal for NCMEC's signature events.
This position is ideal for a dynamic, results-driven, and well-organized development professional who has significant experience as a front-line fundraiser, demonstrated success building new corporate relationships, has strong communication skills, and is committed to advancing NCMEC's mission to ensure that all children have a safe childhood.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Pipeline and new business development
- Build and maintain NCMEC's corporate prospect pipeline .
- Own refinement and execution of in-progress technology sector segmentation model, prioritizing philanthropic c apacity and likelihood of supporting NCMEC.
- Develop and launch a tiered corporate membership offer as an alternative to designing bespoke partnership s for every company.
Portfolio, solicitation, and pipeline ownership
- In conjunction with the VP, Development and in alignment with the department's fundraising priorities, develop a corporate partnership strategy that will meet the organization's fundraising targets and goals.
- Secure corporate gifts at the five-to-six figure level, and partner with the CEO , VP, and operational leaders on seven-figure renewals and asks.
- Develop and manage a personal portfolio of up to 75 corporate prospects weighted toward net-new relationships, and carry pipeline accountability for NCMEC's existing corporate accounts .
- Develop cultivation and solicitation strategies for top prospects and implement moves management plans to close gifts.
- Document all corporate activity, moves, next steps, and solicitation timing in Salesforce .
- Track and report progress toward specific metrics and develop monthly department projections for board updates and reports.
- Own the corporate sponsorship pipeline and the corporate revenue goal for NCMEC's signature events, including the HOPE Gala.
- Maintain a single combined event revenue plan with the Director of Philanthropy against goal , with the corporate and individual lines separately owned.
Partnership management and stewardship
- Build and manage the corporate benefit program to provide comprehensive stewardship benefits to top partners.
- Manage all corporate partnerships within portfolio, tracking MOU deadlines in Salesforce and ensuring reporting deadlines are met accurately and on time.
- Manage NCMEC corporate grant tracking system for all corporate partnerships .
- Collaborate with department leaders to collect data and impact metrics for report development and ensure timely submission and tracking of proposals and reports.
- Work with NCMEC operations and communications staff to deliver valued benefits to donors and partners.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all major funding sources.
- Conduct timely entry of personal travel and expense reports in NCMEC's operational systems .
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of six to eight (6-8) years of relevant work experience, including at least three years of frontline corporate fundraising with demonstrated new business experience.

- Demonstrated success managing and closing gifts from a five-to-six figure portfolio of corporate supporters.
- Demonstrated success with developing new corporate relationships, not solely renewing or growing existing relationships.
- Experience partnering with executive and programmatic staff to advance donor relationships.
