Brillient is seeking an experienced Acquisition Liaison to support federal acquisition activities by working across program and contracting teams to develop complete, accurate, and procurement-ready acquisition packages.

This role will support acquisition planning, documentation, market research, contract administration, and tracking while serving as a key point of coordination between program stakeholders and acquisition personnel.

Location:

100% Remote. Candidates must reside in DC, Florida, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Texas, or Virginia. Candidates located in the National Capital Region are preferred.

Salary Range: $100,000-$130,000 annually

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities Assist program offices with developing complete purchase request and acquisition packages

Review acquisition packages for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and compliance before submission

Review existing acquisition and contract documentation for compliance with applicable requirements

Support development of acquisition plans, Statements of Work, Statements of Objectives, Performance Work Statements, market research reports, Determinations and Findings, exceptions to fair opportunity, and Justifications and Approvals Conduct and support market research and development of acquisition recommendations

Support preparation of Independent Government Cost Estimates and cost or price analyses

Assist with development of source selection and technical evaluation criteria

Support administration of IDIQs, task and delivery orders, BPAs, call orders, purchase orders, and interagency agreements

Assist with contract modifications, funding actions, and closeout packages

Track contract funding and coordinate status and requirements with acquisition and program stakeholders

Attend program and acquisition meetings and document decisions, action items, and follow-up requirements

Maintain accurate and current acquisition trackers and supporting documentation

Coordinate across program and contracting teams to identify missing information and keep acquisition actions progressing

Support invoice tracking and related contract administration activities; this position does not have authority to accept or reject invoices or settle payments

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and minimum five (5) years of relevant federal acquisition experience

Mid-level federal acquisition knowledge and hands-on experience equivalent to at least legacy FAC-C Level II training and experience

Hands-on experience applying the FAR throughout federal procurement activities

Hands-on experience with FAR Subpart 8.4; FAR Parts 12, 13, 15, 37, and 43; and FAR 4.804

Experience supporting Firm-Fixed-Price, cost-reimbursement, Labor Hour, and Time-and-Materials contracts

Demonstrated experience conducting market research and developing acquisition recommendations

Experience supporting acquisition planning and procurement documentation

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Google Workspace Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple acquisition actions and deadlines

Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Public Trust determination

Preferred Qualifications PRISM or another federal contract writing system experience

SharePoint experienceCRM or workflow tracking system experience

Experience developing or reviewing Independent Government Cost Estimates Previous acquisition support experience with the Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration, or another federal civilian agency
