Concrete Estimator

Concrete Estimator – Large Scale Commercial & Industrial Projects

Salary: $100,000 - $135,000 per year. This role is open to candidates with extensive experience in concrete estimation for large-scale, commercial, and industrial projects ranging from $2M to $12M in value.

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects.
• Prepare detailed estimates for construction projects, including concrete, labor, equipment, and materials.
• Manage the bidding process, including preparing detailed cost estimates, draft proposals, and hard bids.
• Implement cost‑effective solutions and project strategies to stay within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Conduct risk management assessments to identify potential operational or financial risks.
• Communicate with team members, clients, and stakeholders to discuss cost estimates and resolve discrepancies.
• Participate in the negotiation and preparation of construction contracts.
• Utilize specialized software for project take‑off and estimation.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Concrete Estimator or in a comparable role.
• Proven experience in concrete‑focused commercial and industrial projects ranging from $2M to $12M in value.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements.
• Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost calculations.
• Strong negotiation skills to secure cost‑effective contracts and bids.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with estimation software and related tools.
• Preferred:
  Degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
