As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead jobsite operations, uphold safety and quality standards, and drive projects to successful completion.
What You'll Do Project Leadership- Oversee daily jobsite operations with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity
- Develop and maintain project schedules to meet milestones and deadlines
- Support manpower planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Lead projects from startup through closeout, including sequencing and coordination
- Represent VMG in meetings with clients, general contractors, and project partners
- Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections
- Enforce OSHA and VMG safety policies
- Identify, report, and address hazards, incidents, and near misses
- Ensure work complies with project plans, specifications, and quality standards
- Maintain accountability for tools, equipment, and company vehicles
- Complete daily reports, time sheets, and job logs accurately
- Track costs, invoices, and subcontractor work
- Maintain organized project documentation and schedules
- Lead and coordinate field crews and subcontractors
- Set clear expectations and provide coaching and performance feedback
- Foster a respectful, team-oriented culture built on accountability
- 5+ years of experience supervising commercial construction projects (HVAC, Plumbing, or MEP strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to manage crews and jobsite operations
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, sequencing, and cost control
- OSHA 30 preferred (or a demonstrated commitment to safety)
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
