Alpha School leverages AI-driven 1:1 instruction so students complete core academics in roughly two hours per day. This structure opens time for life skills, self-directed projects, and meaningful development. At our most demanding campuses, students require more than oversight. They need a credible coach who can assess dynamics, establish expectations, and guide them past hesitation, distraction, and doubt.

This is not conventional classroom instruction. You will not deliver lectures, assign grades, or develop curricula. You will coach. You will facilitate structured life-skills sessions. You will interpret data to identify obstacles limiting a student's progress, then guide with precision and empathy until they execute.

• Conduct 1:1 and small-group coaching that converts student objectives into reliable follow-through and trackable outcomes
• Leverage analytics and student ambitions to pinpoint obstacles and design ambitious, personalized motivation strategies
• Facilitate demanding life-skills workshops through authentic storytelling, guided reflection, and practical application, then evaluate mastery
• Guide daily opening routines that establish culture, uphold high standards, and focus students before work begins
• Build trusted mentorship with students and their families through unwavering standards, reliability, and informed judgment

• Deliver traditional classroom instruction, lectures, or academic tutoring
• Develop curricula, write lesson plans, or evaluate student assignments
• Supervise staff, oversee campus operations, or assume administrative leadership duties
• Compromise standards to achieve short-term compliance or superficial progress

Ensure students at Alpha's most rigorous campuses maintain strong motivation and attain consistent growth and life-skill proficiency through elite, high-standards coaching.

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• At least one verifiable elite marker (athletic achievement, academic distinction, career accomplishment, or elite-level coaching)
• Proven experience in mentoring, coaching, or leadership roles that demonstrably improved others' performance
• Confidence working in high-accountability settings with explicit standards and consistent follow-through
• Capability to facilitate compelling, high-rigor group workshops and coach individuals with sound judgment
• Commitment to full-time, in-person work at an Alpha campus:

• Authorization to work legally in the United States

• Track record using data and analytics to inform coaching strategies and maintain accountability
• Experience in competitive firms, high-growth startups, or elite athletic programs with rigorous performance cultures

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
