The successful candidate will understand, appreciate, and capitalize on the role that athletics play in helping students learn to build together, work together, and achieve together, from a range of backgrounds, perspectives, and identities. The candidate will further develop that understanding and appreciation in their athletes. Previous playing and/or coaching experience is preferred.
ContextAs a member of the Interstate Athletic Conference (IAC) and Independent School League (ISL) in the Greater Washington, DC area, Episcopal High School has a rich academic and athletic tradition and is deeply committed to seeing athletics as a crucial classroom in which students strive for excellence and develop as healthy, determined, collaborative, and ethical leaders for the future.
