Alexandria City Public Schools in Alexandria, Virginia, is seeking an innovative educational leader to ensure an excellent educational experience for every student in the division. Alexandria City Public Schools serve more than 16,000 students from more than 118 countries who speak 127 languages. The mission of the Alexandria City Public Schools is to nurture, educate, and inspire each student for success.
The successful applicant must have demonstrated exemplary educational leadership experience in a community with similar strengths, demographics, and challenges. Candidates must have or be immediately eligible for a Virginia DOE 8 VAC 20 Division Superintendent License. A multi-year contract will be offered in a salary range of $305,000 per annum subject to actual qualifications, experience, and negotiations. Applications will be received through August 12, 2026.
