City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class and after-school academic tutoring to students
• Support teachers with classroom management and engagement activities
• Track and report student progress using established tools
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and school staff
• Lead or support attendance, behavior, and social-emotional learning initiatives
• Participate in regular training, coaching, and team meetings
• Assist with school-wide events and service projects
• Model professionalism and City Year values in the school community
