City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small-group academic support in core subjects
• Mentor and build positive relationships with students to support social-emotional growth
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and behavior support
• Track student progress and document interventions
• Communicate with school staff and families as needed to support student success
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development
• Support whole-school events, interventions, and attendance initiatives
