Overview

As a Senior Quality Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards by conducting thorough quality inspections and witness tests. Collaborate with industry experts and committed teams to uphold contract specifications and make a tangible impact on our projects.
This position will support our Long Bridge North project. This project will expand a current two-track rail corridor to four-tracks significantly reducing rail congestion in southwest Washington DC. Construction will include 1.8 miles of improvements, 7 new bridges and 20,000 feet of tracks. After completion, Long Bridge with increase rail traffic capacity for CSX, Virginial Railway Express, and Amtrak trains.

What you will be doing- Identifies risks and discrepancies at the project site during daily site walks, documenting findings, evaluations, and inspections using Company-prescribed procedures and software.
- Assists with protocols, qualifications, and prescribed validation procedures and documentation.
- Performs system verifications on completed systems to ensure correct installation per contract design specifications.
- Documents, analyzes, and reports environmental performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies.
- Supports impact assessments to identify, assess, and reduce the organization’s environmental risks and financial costs, following the direction of the environmental team and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree or Engineering Technologist Diploma preferred.
- 3+ year related experience preferred.
- ACI or Canadian equivalent certification required.
- Experience or training in environmental regulatory and construction industry compliance preferred.
- Proven subject matter expert in testing, inspection processes and construction procedures.
- Leadership and mentoring ability and ownership.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to learn and grow in environmental monitoring, technical writing and documentation.
