** Job Description**##
** Overview
* * The Senior Project Manager - Highways will provide senior level technical direction, mentor and support junior to intermediate staff, contribute to management initiatives, and serve as a key contact with clients. Experience in a Project Management role with the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) is required. In addition, liaising with regulatory agencies, networking with other professionals and new business development.##

** Your role
*** Manage Highway Design projects in Ontario, leading a team of engineers, designers, other disciplines & consultants to meet MTO requirements.
* Maintain project budgets, schedules, risk registers.
* Communications with project team, client staff and project stakeholders.
* Lead technical proposals for highway design pursuits and similar transportation engineering work.
* Ensure all deliverables meet client requirements and all applicable standards, codes and regulations.
* Maintain required quality system standards and procedures.
* Embrace and actively support behaviour-based workplace health and safety policies.##
** About you
*** Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) in Ontario.
* Highway engineering knowledge and skills recognized by the Ministry of Transportation Ontario, sufficient for approval in MTO RAQS.
* Minimum 10 years’ demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary highway planning and design projects, particularly northern Ontario highways. Minimum 3 years’ demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary highway planning and design projects being recognized as Project Manager by MTO.
* Computer Skills - MS Office, AutoCAD, Open Roads, and other relevant industry-standard tools.
* Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.## ##
