MTSI is seeking to hire a Modeling and Simulation Engineering Manager to support various program initiatives throughout the MTSI enterprise, including projects for government and commercial customers such as the MDA, Space Force, and the U.S. Navy. Emphasis areas will include Lethality, Threat Engineering and Kill Web analysis primarily as they relate to the mission space. Work will include briefing internal and external stakeholders, leading projects, and conducting research and development consistent with DoD Systems Engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to integrate Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), digital twins, and advanced simulation tools into engineering workflows.
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and deployment of digital engineering platforms and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering initiatives with organizational goals.
- Provide mentorship and training to engineering teams to enhance their digital engineering proficiency.
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains competitive.
- Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and processes for systems engineering and digital engineering.
- US citizenship required and must have a minimum of a TOP SECRET clearance with ability to obtain SCI and SAP clearances as needed.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in Modeling & Simulation relevant to Threat Engineering, Lethality Analysis, and Countering Advanced Weapon Systems.
- Systems Engineering acumen is essential.
- Project Management experience.
- Professional experience with hypersonic and/or M&S and testing, hypersonic systems and technology.
- Capability and experience with modern Multiphysics M&S systems.
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Outgoing, energetic, self‑starter looking to be part of an integrated team.
- Proven track record of leading large‑scale Modeling & Simulation initiatives.
- Exceptional problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills—both written and verbal.
- Starting PTO accrual of 20 days PTO/year + 10 holidays/year.
