Electrical Engineer - TS​/SCI Poly

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary engineering and construction team responsible for developing, integrating, and delivering engineering solutions for complex electrical projects within the mission‑critical sector. This role involves producing a wide range of project deliverables, including drawings, specifications, equipment and product selection, installation‑sequence planning, and the development of testing and commissioning scripts. The Electrical Engineer is expected to independently identify, analyze, and resolve engineering challenges of moderate scope and complexity while operating with limited to moderate supervision.

• Originate and execute detailed design with limited supervision by Senior Engineers, including the design or integration of the following:
  • Normal power medium and low voltage distribution systems
  • Emergency power generation and distribution systems, including UPS
  • Coordinate device locations with other trades, including mechanical, plumbing, or other (Architectural, Lab, Medical, Kitchen, etc.), including interpreting equipment requirements
  • Project specifications for all equipment and installation methods
• Perform analysis of electrical distribution systems, including short circuit, overcurrent device coordination, arc flash, cable pull, duct bank heating, etc.
• Documentation of design work via AutoCAD and REVIT in 2D and 3D platforms
• Provide support of construction activities, including but not limited to, responses to Requests for Information, review of project equipment submittals, and technical support of operations management.
• Assist Project Lead Engineers in managing project support and deliverables
• Determine or assist in determining project engineering scopes of work, deadlines, and budget, and complete support within agreed deadlines and budget.
• Research, prototype, and develop emerging technologies to implement the latest and best‑in‑breading capabilities to meet the customer’s emerging needs.
• Keep senior staff informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and that the objectives of the company and the client are achieved.
• Manage your time effectively and support multiple projects concurrently.

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering program.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in design, testing and commissioning of building power systems.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; minimum TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and engineering software.
• Familiarity with NEC, NESC, IEEE, IEC, and local building codes.
• Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.

• Fundamentals of Engineering certification or Professional Engineer license.
• Experience in the mission‑critical, healthcare, industrial, transportation, pharmaceutical, federal, and Fortune 500 sectors.
