Our client is currently seeking a Structural Design Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis and design of structural systems for all types of building materials using various building codes and standards (i.e. IBC, IEBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, UFC).
- Participate in field surveys and document existing conditions.
- Communicate and coordinate with architects and engineers of other disciplines.
- Review and evaluate existing building structural systems.
- Prepare drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Write technical reports.
- Review construction submittals, participate in construction observation, and respond to contractor inquiries.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (B.S.CE), Bachelor of Architectural Engineering (B.AE), or Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering (B.S.AE), or equivalent, with coursework specialized towards structural engineering
- Registered EIT or in pursuit of EIT license
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational and team skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to be challenged and develop new skills
- Master's Degree
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience with analysis software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, RAM Elements, RAM Structural System, and/or RAM Concept
- $75 - 90K, depending on experience
