description
the department of defense (dod) test resource management center (trmc) plays a critical role in support of the warfighter. Trmc ensures that dod components have the appropriate test and evaluation (t&e) infrastructure required to research, develop, field, and maintain military systems. Recently, the united states has accelerated its efforts to develop air vehicles that travel at hypersonic speeds (greater than mach 5 or approximately 3,000 miles per hour).
To enable these systems, the trmc has funded several major projects and has established a project management team to modernize hypersonic test infrastructure. The duties described in this job description are critical to enable the project management team to oversee the execution of these projects. This is a newly established effort and as a founding member, the ideal candidate would be excited to play a significant role in creating the team that enables program success.
