About the Role
Ventus Solutions is seeking a Senior Technical Program Analyst to assist the Program Manager in a science program. The analyst will provide technical support, coordinate conferences, demonstrations, expositions, events, meetings and technical reviews, and serve as a liaison between senior officials in other departments, services, agencies, government laboratories, academia, and industry personnel. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining key documents and master plans, supporting technical management of acquisition plans, representing the government project, assessing performance in terms of technical objectives, cost and schedule, and developing databases for programmatic tracking of milestones.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and coordinate conferences, demonstrations, expositions, events, and meetings.
- Maintain briefing materials and coordinate input for data calls, including budget exhibit submissions and congressional requests for information.
- Liaise with senior officials, agencies, and industry personnel to facilitate program objectives.
- Assist in developing and maintaining acquisition plans, program master plans, and technical reviews.
- Develop and maintain databases for technical programmatic tracking of milestones using tools such as task sheets, mission model canvas sheets, quad sheets, fact sheets, and portfolio review slides.
- Ensure compliance with federal acquisition, budgeting, and program management standards.
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree may substitute for two years of additional experience).
- Ten (10) years of experience in engineering, mathematics, or science (biology, chemistry, computer science, physics).
- Recent experience (last 5 years) in federal acquisition and budgeting.
- Experience in Science and Technology (S&T) program management.
- Experience managing technical programs in excess of $1M.
- Experience with planning methodologies for analyzing research programs and developing databases for technical and programmatic tracking.
- Experience evaluating and developing analytical models, procedures, and techniques.
- Experience executing and reviewing technical studies, analysis, and design activities.
- Secret DoD Clearance.
- Experience collaborating with senior government (OPNAV, SYSCOM, Warfare Centers, Secretariat, or OSD) personnel.
- Experience supporting senior Navy S&T leadership on complex tasks.
- Experience with DoD RDT&E program/budget exhibits and strategic plans.
- Experience in one or more of the following focus areas:
Naval/Marine Corps Naval Engineering, Naval/Marine Corps Power and Energy, Naval/Marine Corps Materials, Naval/Marine Corps Undersea Systems, Naval/Marine Corps Manufacturing.
