Structural Design Engineer

Our client is currently seeking a Structural Design Engineer.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform analysis and design of structural systems for all types of building materials using various building codes and standards (i.e. IBC, IEBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, UFC).

• Participate in field surveys and document existing conditions.

• Communicate and coordinate with architects and engineers of other disciplines.

• Review and evaluate existing building structural systems.

• Prepare drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.

• Write technical reports.

• Review construction submittals, participate in construction observation, and respond to contractor inquiries.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (B.S.CE), Bachelor of Architectural Engineering (B.AE), or Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering (B.S.AE), or equivalent, with coursework specialized towards structural engineering.

• Registered EIT or in pursuit of EIT license.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Good organizational and team skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to be challenged and develop new skills.

Preferred:

• Master's Degree.

• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.

• Experience with analysis software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, RAM Elements, RAM Structural System, and/or RAM Concept.

Pay Range: $75 - 90K, depending on experience.
