Insight Global is looking for a Hypersonics expert to support us and a high level DoW office based in the DC area. This individual will play a pivotal role as a technical focal point for Hypersonics advancement for our nation. They will coordinate across academia, commercial tech, and government offices and agencies to advance the United States' Hypersonics capabilities and ensure technological advantage.
Required
Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree and 9+ years of experience
- Active TSSCI Clearance
- Working background on Hypersonic or other Ballistic Missile DoW programs and engineering efforts
- Strong working knowledge of DoW acquisition process
- Experience briefing and interacting with high level DoW customers and offices
- Knowledge of Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and supply chain policy
Other Duties:
Provide programmatic expertise to the Government from system concept definition through technology transfer activities. Provide programmatic expertise to the Government regarding gaps in development and applications of technologies to DoW capabilities. Represent team on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and participate in Government-approved conferences and forums in addition to specific USD R&E projects. Manage the industrial base assessments related to their specific technology area to identify risks, issues, and opportunities.
Serve as a liaison between organizations, SMEs, and innovation base working on their technology areas to identify risks and opportunities.
