Staff Consultant, Finance & Banking

We are seeking an A-123 Staff Consultant to provide support for our Federal client’s OMB Circular A-123 program. In this role, you will assist with internal controls assessments, improper payment testing, and compliance efforts to ensure adherence to federal financial management regulations.

• Focus on Improper Payments and Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR)
• Assist in completing Appendix C improper payment testing
• Conduct Appendix A internal control testing as directed by management
• Draft summaries of deficiencies and corrective action plans
• Perform various analytical tasks to support financial management efforts

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related business field from an accredited university
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Security Clearance: Must be able to pass a basic government suitability check (U.S. Citizenship required)

• One year of experience related to internal controls, gained through:
  • OMB Circular A-123 (Appendices A &
    
    C)
  • Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) compliance
  • Financial Statement Audits
