IT Audit Senior Manager; Federal Audit

IT Audit Manager (US - Alexandria, VA, Columbus, OH, Indianapolis, IN)

Sikich is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented auditing professional with strong leadership and information technology skills. This role is contingent upon award of contract and requires an active or interim Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain it.

Provide the first line of supervision to a team of audit professionals, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and comply with auditing guidelines.

• Review work products prepared by team, including work papers, findings, reports, and other deliverables.
• Design audit plans and procedures using Government Auditing Standards and oversee execution.
• Take initiative to deliver quality work products with little direction.
• Supervise and review work performed by staff.
• Develop people by delegating tasks and providing guidance.
• Provide subject matter technical expertise in financial reporting, internal control, and financial business systems.
• Review draft deliverables and present final results to management.
• Assist principals and senior managers in proposal creation, business development, and practice administration.
• Leverage data analysis tools and AI to increase audit procedure efficiency.
• Advise principals on significant developments.
• Act as primary client liaison and inform principals of all major developments.
• Share knowledge with team members using technology.

• Bachelor’s degree required (Information Systems preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of auditing experience, and/or related technical experience.
• Interim or active Secret clearance.
• Management/leadership experience.
• Strong customer service and project management skills.
• CISA certification preferred.
• Experience performing SOC 1 or SOC 2 audits (strongly preferred).
• Familiarity with FISCAM and/or FISMA frameworks also acceptable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• Other federal reporting and accounting requirements (OMB bulletins, circulars, USSGL, etc.).

In compliance with state pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $155,000. Final compensation will vary based on experience and geographic location.
