Position: Business Process Controls – Manager with Security Clearance
Kearney & Company is seeking a Manager to join our team supporting one of the Federal government's largest agencies! Duties include but are not limited to:
• Providing comprehensive audit advisory services to support the Department of Navy (DON) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) modernization efforts.
• Partnering with DON and audit stakeholders to ensure controls achieve and sustain Federal Financial Management (FFM), financial reporting, audit, and compliance requirements within designated End-to-End processes.
• Assessing existing and emerging business process requirements to define and document key Business Process Controls (BPCs) for S/4

HANA implementation that reduce SAP customization while supporting auditability.
• Reviewing functional requirements and leading DON End-to-End BPC development and maintenance of Level 3-4 business process documentation.
• Managing sub-task/project plan: prioritize activities, meet established deadlines, work closely with the client and Kearney team, seek out and provide value-added services.
• Demonstrating strong customer service skills and the ability to work closely with the client and Kearney team to drive efforts to achieve engagement goals in occasional high-pressure situations with short deadlines.
• Demonstrating excellent writing and communication skills to prepare and deliver high-quality documentation, including control catalog updates, control documentation, control assessments, and project status communications.
• Directing and reviewing the project work and communicating status of project-related tasks to Team Lead and client. Qualifications

Required Qualifications
• BA/BS/BBA degree from an accredited college/university
• Four (4) years of progressive, relevant experience with financial management or business systems modernization/sustainment and related projects.
• Experience assessing, designing, and implementing internal controls within the Federal Government.
• Experience in DoW/DON within one or more of the following E2E areas:
Procure to Pay (P2P), Plan to Report (P2R), Budget to Report (B2R), Acquire to Retire (A2R), Plan to Schedule (P2S), Hire to Retire (H2R), Order to Cash (O2C), or Request for Service (RFS).
• Ability to obtain and maintain an U.S. Secret (or higher, such as Top Secret or TS/SCI) security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship)

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in Department of War (DoW) Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness/Remediation (FIAR).
• Experience researching and applying FASAB, OMB, and Treasury requirements including OMB Circular A-136, and/or the Treasury Financial Manual (TFM) for specific business processes.
• Experience with SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) design and implementation for specific business processes. One of the following professional certifications: CPA, CISA, CIA,CGFM or CDFM. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law.
