IT Supervisory Senior Auditor; Federal Audit

Position Summary

IT Supervisory Senior Auditor (US – Alexandria, VA) – responsible for supervising a team of auditing professionals, conducting IT control testing, preparing and reviewing work products, leading client meetings, and leveraging technology to improve audit efficiency. Requires an active interim Secret or higher clearance.

• Provide first line supervision to a team of auditing professionals.
• Conduct testing to determine the effectiveness of IT controls.
• Prepare work products, including work papers, findings, and reports, in accordance with auditing standards and firm guidelines.
• Review work products prepared by the team.
• Develop the team by delegating tasks and providing guidance.
• Act as the primary liaison to the client, including leading meetings.
• Own assigned work areas.
• Execute tasks according to an internally developed schedule to meet deadlines.
• Leverage technology such as data analysis tools and AI to increase audit efficiency.
• Meet attendance, punctuality, and deadline expectations.
• Participate in training to grow technical and non‑technical competencies.

• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Information Systems degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of auditing and/or related technical experience.
• Minimum interim Secret clearance required.
• CISA certification preferred.
• Experience performing SOC 1 or SOC 2 audits preferred.
• Familiarity with FISCAM and/or FISMA frameworks acceptable.
• Prior audit internship or advanced degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Midpoint salary $107,000 (annual). Final compensation may vary with experience and location.
