Junior Financial Analyst

K ’s National Security Solutions team supports the Department of Defense’s Test Resource Management Center (TRMC). As a Junior Financial Analyst you will support the TRMC/K  Program Financial Manager by managing financial records for multiple projects, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate funding information.

• Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions for multiple projects and lines of accounting.
• Track and reconcile daily, monthly, and year‑end accounts.
• Perform quality checks on funding documents and work with other analysts to validate funding information.
• Execute other duties assigned by the Program Financial Manager or Finance Manager.
• Receive on‑site training at the TRMC to support accurate program reconciliation.

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• 1 to 4 years of work‑related experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Experience maintaining financial records and updating spreadsheets.
• Experience reviewing and reconciling execution reports.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel.
• Thorough understanding of business reconciling.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive “can do” attitude and drive.
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of multi‑tasking under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong quantitative skills.

$74,500 – $100,000 (for Virginia only). The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
