IQ Sig is seeking a Financial Management Analyst to support the Business Office of our government client within the DoD/Department of War. This role is a good fit for a mission-focused financial management professional who can translate budget, accounting, travel, reimbursable-agreement, audit, and execution data into clear recommendations for senior leaders.

What you’ll do
  • Prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and recommend corrective actions for variances or problem areas.
  • Analyze financial transactions, requisitions, budget execution, obligations, status of funds, cost performance, and program execution data.
  • Coordinate cost and performance reporting in support of mission tasks.
  • Support DAI Financials, Treasury G-Invoicing, and DTS-related financial coordination after customer onboarding and on-the-job training.
  • Support responses to FMB, GAO, DoDIG, customer, and internal reviews involving financial management policy and procedure.
  • Serve as a liaison for budgeting, accounting, and financial management policies and procedures to customer stakeholders.
  • Help strengthen internal controls, reporting discipline, and business office operating procedures.
Qualifications Security Requirements
  • Due to the requirements of this position, candidates must be U.S. citizens AND
  • Possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
  • Senior-level experience in financial management, budget execution, accounting, audit response, or business operations.
  • Experience preparing executive-level financial briefs, written analysis, and recommendations.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, judgment, professionalism, patience, and ability to work in a fast-paced customer environment.
  • Positive attitude, common sense, willingness to learn customer systems, and ability to adapt as processes change.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Department of WAR, DoD or comparable federal customer financial management processes.
  • Experience with cost/performance reporting, internal controls, financial audit response, budget reviews, status‑of‑funds analysis, DTS, DAI Financials, or Treasury G-Invoicing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline, or equivalent specialized experience.
  • Department of WAR, DoD, or customer financial management certification or ability to obtain it if required.
Tools and Technologies
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and One Drive.
  • DAI Financials, Treasury G-Invoicing, DTS, or other financial management, budget execution, accounting, task management, and reporting systems assigned by the customer.
  • Structured trackers, dashboards, and data review tools used to monitor obligations, execution, variances, and corrective actions.
Physical Work and Work Environment
  • Primarily sedentary office work in a professional customer office environment.
  • Requires routine computer and office equipment use, electronic and paper document review, written and verbal communication, and meeting participation.
  • May require moving within a customer facility and occasionally lifting or moving standard office materials up to approximately 20 pounds.

The pay range for this position is between $160,000 and $190,000 per year. This position is benefits‑eligible. Our suite of benefits includes Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with match, gym membership discounts, volunteer paid time off, and a generous PTO package.
