Position: Senior Financial Analyst - Atlas Tech with Security Clearance
Senior Financial Analyst We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst with a minimum of five years of progressive financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost-management experience to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a financial professional who thrives in a fast-paced government contracting environment and can transform complex financial data into clear, decision-ready information. Primary Role The Senior Financial Analyst will provide comprehensive financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost-management support to our government customer and internal program leadership. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining program budgets, monitoring expenditures and burn rates, preparing cost estimates, analyzing budget-to-actual performance, managing funding information, and producing financial reports and presentations that support informed decision-making.

The successful candidate will work closely with government project managers, branch leadership, program leads, contracts personnel, project analysts, and external partners to ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and aligned with program requirements. How You Drive Value Your expertise in financial analysis, cost estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and program financial management will help our government customer maintain visibility into project performance, funding requirements, and long-term financial obligations.

By translating financial data into clear insights and actionable recommendations, you will help program leaders:
* Make informed funding and resource-allocation decisions.
* Identify potential budget shortfalls and financial risks.
* Understand project burn rates and cost trends.
* Develop defensible cost estimates and funding requests.
* Prepare for current-year execution and future fiscal-year requirements.
* Maintain alignment among program scope, available funding, and contractual obligations. Your contributions will strengthen financial accountability, improve program planning, and support the successful execution of mission-critical government initiatives. You Will
* Develop, maintain, and analyze program budgets, financial forecasts, and multi-year funding projections.
* Collaborate with government project managers, branch chiefs, project leads, and internal program leadership to update consolidated budget information and long-range financial plans.
* Prepare budget-to-actual analyses, burn-rate reports, trend analyses, and financial-health assessments for assigned projects and programs.
* Develop charts, dashboards, presentations, and executive-level financial summaries that clearly communicate project performance, funding status, risks, and projected requirements.
* Present financial findings and recommendations to government customers, program managers, senior leadership, and other key stakeholders.
* Support the development and maintenance of cost-estimation tools used for fiscal-year transitions, funding planning, and ad hoc financial requests.
* Develop independent government estimates, cost estimates, rough-order-of-magnitude estimates, and other financial planning products that align with statements of work and program scope.
* Review statements of work, contractual requirements, and project plans to ensure that financial estimates accurately reflect anticipated labor, travel, materials, and other direct costs.
* Monitor incoming funding and prepare detailed cost breakouts, material requirements, and supporting documentation needed to accept and execute funds.
* Assist in establishing and maintaining appropriate financial structures for charging labor, travel, materials, and other project expenses against available funding.
