Role Description The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Alexandria Toyota in Alexandria, VA. This role is responsible for managing the dealership’s finance and insurance (F&I) operations, including presenting financing and warranty options to customers, structuring deals, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and lender requirements. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing credit applications, securing approvals from financial institutions, preparing and explaining contracts and related documentation, and maintaining accurate financial records.
The Finance Manager collaborates closely with sales and management teams to optimize deal structures, improve profitability, and support a positive customer experience. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, recommending process improvements, and upholding ethical and transparent financial practices.
Qualifications
- Experience in automotive finance, banking, or related financial services, including deal structuring and loan documentation.
- Strong knowledge of finance and insurance products, lending practices, and regulatory compliance (e.g., privacy laws, fair lending, and consumer protection regulations).
- Proficiency with dealership management systems and financial software; strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
- Proven collaboration skills with sales teams and management to streamline processes and achieve revenue and customer satisfaction goals.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy in contracts and financial records.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, or a related field preferred; relevant automotive F&I certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in a dealership environment or automotive retail is strongly preferred.
