Wealth Financial Advisor / Planner (CFP® Required) Alexandria, VA

A fast growing advisory team is seeking an experienced CFP® to take ownership of a high net worth client book and deliver truly comprehensive planning. This role is ideal for an advisor who loves client relationships, excels in planning depth, and wants strong support — not a hunting environment.

• Lead financial planning for HNW households ($1M+ AUM)
• Run client review meetings and present updated plans
• Strengthen long term relationships through proactive, high touch service
• Address complex financial questions with clarity and confidence
• Participate in client events, speaking engagements, and COI development
• Support growth through exceptional service and referrals — not cold prospecting

• Immediate access to firm provided clients
• Strong marketing engine driving consistent new client flow
• Clear earnings upside tied to engagement and retention
• Collaborative environment with planning, service, and marketing support
• A balanced blend of service + light sales, tailored to advisor strengths

• CFP® designation (required)
• 6+ years in financial planning or wealth management
• Strong communicator with planning depth and client service instincts
• Organized, detail driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Confident discussing markets, planning concepts, and investment strategy

Based in Alexandria, VA (serving VA/DC/MD metro) In office 4 days/week for first 6 months; hybrid flexibility afterward Travel for client meetings and events as needed
