Inova Alexandria Hospital is looking for a dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) to join the team. This role will be full-time night shift from 9:00pm to 7:00am, 4-10-hour shifts (Monday - Friday). Sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance eligible.

Job Responsibilities
- The Computed Tomography Technologist administers sound patient care practices, according to department and hospital policies/procedures, to ensure patient safety.
- Completes ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations.
- Demonstrates radiation protection/safety for patients, staff, and self, as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines, to ensure the safety of the patients and staff.
- Maintains equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the safety of the patients and employees.
- Tracks patients according to department procedures. Identifies errors and takes immediate action for corrections, as evidenced by the EMR and PACS systems as well as the Radiology Information Systems reports.
- Participates in department/hospital performance improvement initiatives, in-services and meetings, as evidenced by attendance records.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of radiography. - Certification:
Must be certified by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist. Must obtain CT Certification one year upon acceptance of the offer. Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association upon start.
- Prior experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and/or Computed Tomography Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment, preferred.
