We are seeking an experienced Paramedic or Healthcare Provider to join our team as an Occupational Health Technician at a busy construction site in Alexandria, VA. This is your opportunity to transition from the stress of EMS, ED, or hospital-based care to a proactive, on-site occupational health role, helping prevent injuries, support worker wellness, and contribute to a safe, high-performance job site every day.

You’ll be a key member of a safety-focused medical team, providing injury triage, health support, and wellness guidance while collaborating closely with safety personnel and project leadership.

- 2:00pm–9:00pm
- Saturday
- 2:00pm–9:00pm
- Sunday
- As Needed
You’ll provide on-site medical coverage in a clinic setting at an active construction site, including:
- Triage and treatment of occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses
- Follow-up care based on evidence-based medical protocols
- OSHA and workers’ compensation documentation
- First aid and emergency response
- Daily collaboration with site safety teams
- Promoting employee wellness initiatives
This is not a traditional ambulance role. You’ll work in a clinic environment, build relationships with workers, and contribute to the safe, efficient operation of the project.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, triage, and treat injuries and illnesses
- Maintain accurate medical and OSHA documentation in EMR
- Conduct pre‑employment and ongoing occupational health screenings
- Support risk management and workers’ compensation processes
- Lead "Stretch & Flex" sessions and participate in site walks
- Deliver excellent customer service and foster positive workplace relationships
- Current State Medical License (or ability to obtain per NREMT, State Laws, EMS/Nurses Compact)
- Current ACLS certification required
- OSHA-30 Certification required within 90 days (company‑provided)
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed Healthcare Provider
- Emergency, occupational, or industrial safety experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license in good standing (when driving is required)
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and medical office equipment
- Must follow strict safety and infection control protocols
