Polaris is seeking a Data Analyst (Part‑time) to support a federal small business office’s performance reporting and analysis needs. This role maintains performance trackers and reporting inputs, performs data validation, and prepares metrics tables and supporting analysis used in recurring weekly and semi‑annual reports. The Data Analyst works closely with the Business Analyst to ensure reporting products are accurate, consistent, and ready for delivery.
WhatYou Will Do
- Maintain and refresh performance metrics, trackers, and supporting datasets used for recurring reporting.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to reduce rework and increase confidence in reporting outputs.
- Prepare recurring metrics tables and supporting summaries for inclusion in weekly reporting products.
- Prepare subcontracting performance tracking tables and supporting summaries for inclusion in semi‑annual reporting products.
- Support performance‑driver analysis through structured data pulls, trend identification, and summary tables.
- Maintain consistent definitions and documented quality checks to support repeatable reporting processes.
- Coordinate closely with the Business Analyst to align reporting inputs with leadership needs and delivery timelines.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience supporting reporting, metrics, or data analysis in a professional environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate recurring outputs on schedule.
- Ability to communicate clearly and coordinate effectively with stakeholders.
