Position: PeopleSoft Developer with Security Clearance
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a People Soft Developer to join a data-driven government services provider and IT consulting firm, delivering innovative capabilities that keep our nation healthy and safe, located in Alexandria, VA for a fully on-site role . The People Soft Developer will drive technical solution design, development, deployment, and implementation covering all technical aspects of the People Soft development cycle.

* This role requires an active DoD Secret Clearance
* Responsibilities of the People Soft Developer :
* Lead end-to-end technical solution design, development, deployment, and implementation across the full People Soft development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with functional and technical specifications.

* Deliver hands-on technical solutions to complex business challenges by translating requirements into scalable process and system designs using People Tools (People Code, Application Engine, Component Interface, etc.).

* Design, develop, and deliver People Soft application components including reports, interfaces, conversions, customizations, and remediation solutions that meet project and operational requirements.

* Provide comprehensive production support by analyzing, designing, programming, testing, debugging, and resolving complex production issues to ensure high-quality, stable deliverables.

* Engage with end-users and stakeholders to gather and interpret requirements, perform complex analyses, and present well-reasoned options and recommendations to achieve desired outcomes.

* Create and maintain functional and technical design documentation, document system changes and configurations, and effectively manage multiple dynamic priorities while meeting established deadlines.

* Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with proven ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical audiences, communicate effectively across internal and external organizations, and ensure timely issue resolution through consistent follow-up and follow-through.

* Thrive in fast-paced, constantly changing environments by working both independently and collaboratively, effectively contributing within team-based and matrixed organizational structures. Qualifications for the People Soft Developer:
* Strong experience in People Soft technical development along with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent professional experience).

* Extensive hands-on experience developing within the full People Tools suite, including Fluid components and pages, Application Packages and Classes, Application Engine, Integration Broker, and Isolated Customizations.

* Proven technical development experience in People Soft 9.2 utilizing People Code, Workflow, Application Engine (App Engine), Component Interface, Integration Broker, and Java to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

* Strong database experience with Oracle, including advanced SQL scripting, query optimization, and data manipulation to support application development and performance tuning.

* Demonstrated ability to support complex integrations, custom development, and enterprise-level system enhancements within secure, large-scale environments.

* Must possess active CompTIA Security+ certification

* Must maintain a T5 Security Background Investigation, in order to obtain IT Level I access, and possess a DoD SECRET clearance or higher in support of federal program requirements. Compensation for the People Soft Developer:
* Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000
