This position leads the overall design, integration, and technical oversight for the Treasury’s OneFM modernization project. You will serve as the primary architect responsible for modernizing core financial systems, ensuring financial integrity, and enabling cross-agency adoption. This role is critical for translating complex business needs into scalable, secure, and compliant federal IT specifications while ensuring seamless interoperability and data-driven decision-making.

10+ years of progressive, relevant experience - Work Schedule:
Full-time, Permanent - Compensation: $150,000 – $190,000 (Exempt)
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. - Experience:
10+ years in complex IT solution design and implementation.
- Technical Leadership: Lead the development of system architecture and provide expert guidance on technology selection, interfaces, and data flows.
- Solution Design: Oversee the creation of solution design documents, ensuring all components are scalable, secure, and aligned with federal standards.
- Modernization Oversight: Direct the modernization of Treasury’s Core Financial Systems to support seamless migration and interoperability.
- Stakeholder
Collaboration:
Collaborate with stakeholders to perform requirements analysis, fit-gap assessments, and translate business needs into technical specs. - Lifecycle Support: Provide oversight throughout the project lifecycle, including design reviews, risk assessments, and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Advisory Services: Serve as the key technical advisor to Program Managers and provide subject matter expertise on cloud architectures and emerging technologies.
- Cloud Architecture: Deep experience in designing and implementing complex, cloud-based enterprise architectures.
- Federal Compliance: Proven track record of delivering solutions within NIST and FedRAMP security frameworks.
- System Integration: Expertise in enterprise integration, system interfaces, and validating performance and security objectives.
- Analytical Problem Solving: Ability to lead technical documentation efforts and troubleshoot high-level architectural defects.
- Advanced
Education:
Master’s degree or higher in a related technical field. - Industry
Certifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or TOGAF. - Government Environment: Specific experience delivering large-scale IT modernizations within a federal government agency.
