We are seeking a Database Administrator (Journeyman) to support a mission-critical federal database environment for a potential opportunity. The DBA will perform daily database operations, monitoring, maintenance, ETL support, SQL query support, data quality validation, interface validation, and Tier 1–2 troubleshooting.
ResponsibilitiesPerform daily database operations, monitoring, and routine maintenance.
Support Oracle and/or SQL Server database environments.
Support daily ETL processes for reporting and data warehouse activities.
Develop, run, and troubleshoot SQL queries.
Validate data quality and support interface reconciliation.
Generate data quality reports and assist with data quality controls.
Support SFTP-based data transfer processes.
Provide Tier 1–2 help desk support for database, reporting, data, and interface issues.
Support Micro Strategy or similar BI/reporting environments.
Maintain database documentation and support approved change and release processes.
3+ years of relevant database administration experience.
Hands-on experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server.
Experience with ETL processes, SQL queries, data validation, and SFTP processes.
Knowledge of Micro Strategy or similar business intelligence/reporting tools.
Experience supporting production operations, troubleshooting, and help desk tickets.
Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with technical teams, program staff, and government stakeholders.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Experience supporting federal, DoD, or mission-critical systems.
Experience with AWS Gov Cloud, SQL Server data warehouses, Oracle Data Guard, or reporting environments.
Familiarity with RMF, ATO, STIGs, CUI/PII protections, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
Top Secret (T5) investigation/clearance required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain required DoD credentials, including CAC access.
