Senior Dev Ops Engineer

We are looking for a seasoned Dev Sec Ops engineer to build secure, scalable, automated cloud environments for defense and enterprise customers. You will take ownership of complex Azure‑based systems, refine and optimize CI/CD pipelines, strengthen cybersecurity posture, and guide modernization initiatives. This high‑impact role directly shapes system reliability, security, and mission success.
Responsibilities- Maintain Azure production and lower environments, including implementing security patches and vulnerability remediation.
- Execute and optimize software deployments across multiple environments.
- Perform database backups and support data reliability for Postgre
SQL and Mongo
DB. - Review container scan findings, coordinate remediation activities with Cyber Security teams, and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs) and support recurring cybersecurity reviews.
- Coordinate deployment approvals with hosting providers and stakeholders.
- Execute software upgrades, improve system resiliency, and troubleshoot production issues.
- Implement, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab.
- Monitor and tune infrastructure using Azure Monitor, leveraging Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Minimum 8 years of directly related Dev Ops, cloud engineering, or infrastructure experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or 4 additional years of relevant experience).
- Active Secret Clearance required.
- Security+ certification required.
- Technical
Skills:- Strong experience with Azure and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Terraform and Git Lab‑based CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Azure Monitor and container security best practices.
- Familiarity with Postgre
SQL and Mongo
DB. - Experience working in Agile and Dev Sec Ops ‑aligned environments.
- Strong communication and cross‑team coordination abilities.
- Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity compliance processes and enterprise service transitions.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and tooling.
- Experience across diverse cloud environments and modern Dev Ops tool chains.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and mentor junior engineers.
