The opportunity:

With the nation’s cyber security at risk, we need proactive strategy to embed cybersecurity in system development. As a cybersecurity requirements and acquisition specialist, you will lead the assessment of current DoD cyber policies, identify coverage gaps and risk areas, evaluate compliance with regulations, best practices, and industry standards, and develop a strategic cyber roadmap. Your work ensures clients operate securely in a rapidly evolving IT environment.

• Assess DoD current cyber policies, coverage, and risk areas.
• Evaluate policies against regulations, best practices, and industry standards.
• Guide clients on acceptable risk and availability.
• Advance development of strategic cyber roadmaps.
• Ensure secure operations for clients navigating evolving IT environments.

• 12+ years of experience in policy development.
• Experience delivering briefings, conducting outreach, and supporting awareness training initiatives.
• Knowledge of DoD requirements and acquisition processes such as Service PMO.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity requirements and acquisition strategies for system acquisition and program protection.
• Ability to prepare, review, and assess cybersecurity documentation for compliance and effectiveness.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Cybersecurity or IT field.

• Experience with cyber-Mission Assurance.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to engage with internal teams and external partners.
• Certifications such as CISSP.
