Job #: 3038489 Apex Systems is currently hiring a Program Administrator with a Gov Con client. This role is in support of a program with the DoD. Project Details / Mission Supported:
• Coordinates closely with Program Management and customer stakeholders to maintain operational awareness and ensure smooth execution of daily activities.
• Works collaboratively with team members to address administrative challenges, improve workflow efficiency, and ensure accurate and timely information sharing across the program.
• Contributes to a high performing team environment by supporting personnel actions, maintaining documentation, and facilitating effective communication channels.
• Leads key responsibilities including generating meeting notes, tracking action items, managing employee onboarding/offboarding, supporting program deliverable reporting, and assisting with contractual and PMO documentation.
• Uses strong communication, organizational, and technical skills to manage schedules, coordinate customer interactions, and maintain accurate records using standard productivity tools and internal tracking systems.
Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:
• 2+ years’ relevant experience in administrative or similar roles
• Associate’s degree
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with scheduling, documentation management, and customer communication tools
• Experience with Confluence, Jira, SharePoint, or similar collaboration tools
Location:
Alexandria, VA
Onsite expectation: 100% onsite
Clearance Level: TS/SCI
Salary/Pay range: $45-55/hr W2
